Finding the right dog bed for my indie dog

Choosing the best dog bed in India is not easy. When I first brought Pepper home I bought her a bed that lasted for only 3-4 months. She chewed through it quickly and I thought dog beds were a waste of money. Since she was in her chewing stage, whatever I would get for her, she would chew. I was also of the opinion that something very soft and cushion-y would make her feel more comfortable. However, I quickly changed my opinion because it costed me quite some money over a period of time.

So, I ordered this dog bed on Amazon. It has now been with us for one and a half years and has worked very well. Pepper is an Indie dog who is one year and eight months old. She uses the large size bed. She sleeps on it daily and I also carry it when we travel. This has been the most durable and comfortable dog bed I have used so far. It is more or less cushion-y but not as much as pure textile beds would be.

I often carry this bed in my car. Pepper settles down easily because the bed feels familiar. It is light and simple to move around. For pet parents who travel often this feature is important.

Comfortable dog bed for Indie dogs

The cushioning is balanced. Pepper stretches out and curls up on it without any issue. It has been a comfortable dog bed for my Indie dog and she prefers it over other resting spots. However, the catch here is - It is a L sized dog for a dog that is 12 kg. I feel that this bed would feel much smaller for breeds like labs, pitbulls or golden retrievers so evaluate the size carefully.

Easy to clean dog bed

Daily cleaning is simple. I wipe off dust and wash it once in a while. It stays fresh without much effort. An easy to clean dog bed saves a lot of time.

Not all dog beds are made to last. Choosing a chew resistant and water resistant bed was the right choice. Having one bed that works both at home and during travel has been very convenient.

Would I recommend it

Yes. This is one of the better dog beds in India for durability comfort cleaning and travel use. Pepper has been happy with it and that is what matters the most. If you're reading this to do your dog bed research - Ensure that you check the measurements properly. The pictures given on amazon are slightly deceiving when it comes to the size. Apart from that, it's a sensible purchase.
