Can my dog eat cake?

It is not recommended to feed your dog cake made for humans. Cake is usually high in sugar, fat and flour, which can be harmful to your dog's health. Consumption of sugary foods can lead to weight gain, dental problems, and other health issues, such as diabetes. Cakes may contain ingredients toxic for dogs. For example, chocolate cake contains theobromine, a substance that is toxic to dogs, while some cakes may contain xylitol, which can be extremely toxic to dogs even in small amounts. In short, it's best to avoid feeding cake or any other human food to your dog, and instead opt for dog-friendly cakes and treats that are safe and healthy for them.
